Govern the commitment. Not the chaos.

One platform where strategy, planning, execution, and tracking finally live together. Built by the team that lived the problem.

Why we built this
"We ran delivery across 4 countries, 23 active projects, and 6 business units. And every Monday, we opened 12 spreadsheets to figure out where we actually stood."
-- Ascentt leadership team, reflecting on 2023-2024

Ascentt is an Elite Databricks partner running complex data and AI programmes for automotive and manufacturing giants like Toyota, Ford, and Honda. We are the delivery team. We know what it feels like to inherit a commitment that was never properly scoped, estimated, or governed.

We watched the same patterns repeat: budgets committed before scope was validated. Resources allocated before anyone checked capacity. Risk discovered at delivery, never at decision. And no learning loop -- every new project felt like starting from scratch.

We looked for a tool that could govern the commitment moment. Something upstream of Jira, downstream of the CRM, and smarter than a spreadsheet. It didn't exist.

So we built it. First for ourselves. Then for Toyota. Now for you.

The system

A consultant, a PM, an engineer,
and a CFO. Working as one.

01
Strategy

The strategist in the room before every decision.

Interactive discovery sessions. The right questions, asked at the right moment. A reason-check before execution begins.

Orbis
What's the real reason for Q3 timing? Budget cycle, regulatory, or competitive?
You
Competitive. Honda is 6 months ahead.
3 similar commitments ran 42% over budget.
02
Planning

Every backlog. Every tool. One plan.

Native integration with Jira, MS Project, GitHub. Strategy flows downstream. Execution flows back up. One source of truth.

Execution

Custom engineering, built by agents.

AI agents do the work within governed guardrails. Humans steer. Every change tied to a commitment, an owner, a budget.

The difference

Same commitment. Two outcomes.

A real scenario from a technology programme. Same scope, same team, different governance.

Without Governance
Week 0: Deal approved on instinct. Estimate from a similar-sounding project 2 years ago.
Week 3: Team starts. Two key roles already committed elsewhere. Nobody flagged capacity.
Week 6: Scope expanded verbally. No change request. Budget frozen at original figure.
Week 12: Client escalation. Delivery 4 weeks late. Finance discovers unbudgeted spend.
Week 16: Project closed with no benchmark update. Next similar deal repeats the same mistake.
vs
With Orbis
Week 0: Demand ID assigned. Estimation benchmarked against comparable projects.
Gate: Five-lens scores: Confidence 72%, Risk flagged, Readiness amber. Delivery team alerted before kick-off.
Week 1: Resource gap resolved before kick-off. Budget adjusted to benchmarked range.
Week 8: Scope change submitted via change request. Auto-impact on budget and timeline. Approved.
Week 14: Delivered on revised plan. Under adjusted budget. Benchmark auto-updated for next cycle.
The five-lens gate

Five questions. Every commitment.

If any lens fails, the commitment is blocked. Every score is permanent.
