[Common Questions]

Frequently asked questions.

What is industrial spatial intelligence, and how is it different from a CAD model?

A CAD model is a static design artefact. Industrial spatial intelligence is a living, three-dimensional view of your operation, fed by real sensor and MES data, that engineers and operators interact with to make decisions. A digital twin updates as the line runs, AR overlays guidance on equipment a technician is looking at, and factory perception lets the system understand what is happening in the space, not just what was drawn into it.

Every agent we build runs with three layers of control: it answers only from sanctioned sources you approve, it shows the reasoning and evidence behind every action, and it pauses for a human approval on actions that change a system of record or affect the line. You decide where the agent acts on its own and where it asks. Confidence is engineered, not promised.

The most common first wins are knowledge agents that compress repair or troubleshooting time on the floor, document AI that reads invoices, claims, or SOPs and updates downstream systems, and copilots that help engineers and analysts get to the answer faster. Each starts narrow, proves the pattern on one workflow, and expands from there. Pick the highest-frequency, highest-cost workflow your people already do manually.

The plant-floor twin sees inside a building or cell; GIS and geospatial intelligence see the network of plants, suppliers, shipments, and assets across geography. Most engagements connect the two, the geospatial layer sees a shipment delayed by a port closure, the plant twin sees the production impact and reschedules the line. Spatial intelligence is one practice across both scales, with the same data engineering and AI underneath.

AI-powered map agents let your team ask the map a question in plain language, show me supplier exposure to the typhoon this week, route this shipment around the closure, where should the next distribution centre go. The agent reads geospatial data on your lakehouse, generates the right map layer, and returns the answer with a map rather than a spreadsheet. It is geospatial intelligence with the productivity curve of GenAI applied on top.
